Holy Cow

What's up world,

Yesterday we had two lectures again in the morning. One talk was on globalization, capitalism and ethics. The other was on environmental issues in India. They were both pretty interesting. In the afternoon we took a trip to an organization that raises orphaned children. They are unique in the sense that they don't have a centralized child raising scheme. They focus on dividing the children up in to groups or "families" - where each family has a mother who raises them. It was a really neat place to visit. These pictures were all taken on our way to or at the SOS Children Village.

Rob Bell came by for a Mere Lunch?

After our visit we met up with some of our friends from MCC and we played some ultimate frisbee. We met more people at the fields and they joined in as well. It was really fun meeting more kids from the school and hanging out with them.

I'm just about out of clean clothes and if I don't get laundry done soon I'm going to be down to just my tuxedo t-shirt. I don't know that that's necessarily a bad thing though...

Love from India,
Drew
