After we explored the market on Sunday we came back and met with a group of students from MCC. It was cool to meet kids from the school - they were very nice and showed us around the campus. Later on Sunday evening we had dinner with the President of MCC. I was trying not to show my roots but they had french fries there... and they were good.
Yesterday we began our lectures at MCC. Our first talk was about the history of the school and the second was a discussion about natural resources and economic policies. Here is our class room:

In the afternoon we took a trip to exchange our dollar and traveler's checks for rupees. It was quite the adventure. On the way the there all 20 of us managed to fit into two of these auto rickshaws.
It took a couple hours for all of us to exchange our money but it was so fun to just sit and watch the traffic go by while we waited. We actually saw a family of five fit on one motorcycle.
On the way back we stopped for ice cream and swung by a convenient store to stock up on snacks.
Thursday we are headed to Pondicherry for about five days.
